FALL SCHEDULE 2023

Saturday, September 30, 9 am-3 pm, Ancestry Research, Centralia College, Centralia, WA.

Saturday, October 14, 9 am-3 pm, Writing Your Family History & Memoirs, Centralia College, Centralia, WA.

I’ve taught many adult ed genealogy classes about research, lineage tracing, and writing family histories. I began teaching these subjects in 1983 in Southern California at Santa Monica College, UCLA, and Ventura College. After I relocated to Western Washington in 2006, I resumed teaching those same subjects at The Evergreen State College, South Puget Sound Community College, Pierce College, Centralia College, Tacoma Community College, and South Seattle College. I’ve also given presentations at senior centers, libraries, and genealogical associations. In addition, I’ve written and published three illustrated family histories, a few dozen articles, and two advice columns. And I’ve been helping people with their family research and lineage tracing since 1983. I have an excellent PowerPoint presentation, and I’d love to come and speak or teach a class at your college or organization. Just drop me a line to get the ball rolling! joellesteele@joellesteeleancestryresearch.com
